FIRST, FRIDAY, XMAS PUTT-OFF Numbers were down for the first Friday, Xmas Putt-Off but the competition was fierce with a number of rounds finishing square and having to go to sudden death knock outs to get a winner. A special mention to Peggy Searle the new Womens Club Captain who was the only women to compete but held her own against all the men. Come on Ladies there's hams to be won. WINNER OF THE PLATE AND MINI HAM DARREN REEVES MAJOR WINNER AND HAM PETER SEARLE A hard match against Brian Ferrao that also went to sudden death knockout. "A little ironic that I won the first Ham of the season as I do not eat meat but as I explained to those offering to buy the ham, my son and grandchildren are carnivorous so it won't go to waist." "REMEMBER ITS ON AGAIN NEXT FRIDAY 12th AFTER THE BADGE DRAW"
