The 2021 Presentation night was held on 27th November with a good crowd of winners and supporters. 2021 Club Champions: A grade : Dean Osborne   B grade :  Dieter Hajduk  C grade :  Paul Harper  Veterans Champion: Dean Osborne Other Major winners were: Terrigal  Cup :  Dean Osborne Foursomes Champions: Peter Searle and Steve Adlard.  Mixed Foursomes Champions: Martin Vanderslot and Bronwyn Dwyer.  Creighton Classic :  Dean Osborne Congratulations to all our winners.

Friday Draw and Patrons Cup Presentation   Join us at 5.00 pm on Friday 3rd December for the Presentation of The Patron Cup, to be presented by Patron, Jeff Perry.   The golf committee look forward to seeing you Friday.

Your new Golf Committee was elected at the AGM on Sunday 21st November.  President Glenn Bainbridge  Vice-President Paul English  Captain Peter Crowder  Secretary Bruce Grant  Treasurer Brian Ferrao  Committeemen Wayne Fuller, Darren Hutton, Rod Hutchinson, Adam Quayle.  I would like to thank retiring Treasurer Bob McMechan for his many years of service. Bob will remain an advisor to the Committee, and I would also like to thank Barry Paterson and Phil Loveridge for their service.  I look forward to continuing the good work of the previous committees with the new committee. BREAKERS GOLF CLUB ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING  NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Annual General Meeting of the Breakers Golf Club will be held in the Breakers Auditorium on Sunday, 21st November 2021 Commencing at or around 12.30pm. AGENDA  1. Confirmation of the Minutes of the previous Annual General Meeting of Breakers Golf Club, held on 15 November, 2020.   2. To receive, consider and, if thought fit, adopt the President’s Report.   3. To receive, consider and, if thought fit, adopt the Treasurer’s Report.  4. To receive, consider and, if thought fit, adopt the Annual Report Balance Sheet, Statement of Accounts and Auditor’s Report.  5. To receive, consider and, if thought fit, adopt the Captain’s Report.  6. To receive, consider and, if thought fit, adopt the following resolutions in regard to benefits, afforded to members of the Golf Committee: ​ a) The reasonable costs of light refreshments and drinks at the ​ last Committee Meetings,           prior to the AGM and Christmas;

2021 Presentation Night  The Breakers Golf Club will be holding is 2020/21 Presentation Night on Saturday 27th November from 5pm to 7pm in the Breakers Auditorium.  Finger food will be provided, members get their own drinks from the bar.  It's been a long year with covid and all the problems thrown at the Golfers so come along and celebrate with all the well deserved winners. Date: Saturday 27th November  Time: 5.00 pm til 7.00 pm.  Breakers Auditorium.   All winners,  members and spectators welcome.  

P eople have asked me about the Bill Birch Cup K nockout Competition Results, There could be a number of reasons the results haven't been posted, one being i lost and didn't care, the other could be I didn't want to give the winner a big head, but I have to be honest and say I forgot to post the results so here they are. This knockout competition has been completed with Russ Emery winning Sunday with 24 pts. Tuesday am Glenn Bainbridge defeated Martin Vanderslot 35pts on c/b.  Tuesday pm Don Ball defeated Wayne Fuller 32pts on c/b.  Overall winner was Glenn Bainbridge. Congratulations Glenn 

Terrigal Cup and Plate 2021  The Terrigal cup was held on Sunday 7th of November, 2021 much to the delight of Breakers Mens Golf Club. Sixty-six players started shotgun start.  Leading the way off the 1 st Tee was Allan Hillary, owner of Erina Goodyear Tyre and Auto Erina and proud sponsor of the Terrigal Cup.( see attached photo of Allan surrounded by fellow members, Michael Hogan and Steven Buddeke.)  Patchy rain fell at different times but did not affect playing conditions with the course once again presented in fine condition. Terrigal Cup winner was Dean Osborne who won on a playoff hole from Glenn Bainbridge.  Terrigal Plate winner was Peter ‘Whispers” McGrath who had the best Net score on the day and seemed very pleased with his success.(see photos attached)  A function with finger food provided by the mens golf committee was catered for in side breakers and a presentation of winners was made. As of Friday the 5th November the Friday Night Members Draw for tee times returns to the downstairs area of the club just outside the golf office at 5pm For those new members you put your card in the box and as it is drawn out you get priority to book a group for the following week  Although things are settling back to normality changes are still happening on short notice so make sure you keep looking at the blog
