Major Competition Update

Memorial Cup  The Memorial Cup is nearly completed and there is only 1 Round to go. Scoring had been tight and with 1 round to go it's going to be a close finish again this year.. Special mention to McPhersons Plumbing for their support. Bill Birch  Sunday and Tuesdays Qualifying Top 18 players have been updated. There is a Sunday, Tuesday AM and Tuesday Pm  A full list of the Memorial Cup and Bill Birch Results are up on the noticeboard.  Good Luck to all players!

Eagles Nest Update

Eagles Nest Update  Attention Breakers Mens Golf Members The Golf Committee met on Tues 13/6 and it was decided that we offer the Eagles Nest  for our Saturday male players also..As of this weekend the Eagles Nest on the 4th & 13th hole can be won on Saturdays,Sundays & Tuesdays and collecting 1 Dozen golf balls as your prize. Note - Eagles Nests on these days can only be won by the men playing in the daily competitions. Good Luck Breakers Mens Golf Committee

New Local Rule

  Members, At June monthly meeting the committee discussed and endorsed the following new local rule. A ball may be moved with consent from your marker to the nearest point of relief to avoid damaged in poor areas on the 4th, 5th and 6th greens ONLY This rule will be consistently reviewed 

Breakers Team Runners Up in Challenge Cup

The 2023 Challenge Cup was played at Gosford Golf Club Sunday 11 June 2023  By all reports and based on scores returned, the course was set up on the hard side and playing with some degree of difficulty.  Notwithstanding the difficulty the players all reported an enjoyable day on the course. At the end of the day Kooindah Waters proved too strong for the other Clubs and with an aggregate score of 186 stableford points claimed bragging rights for the next 12 months.     Breakers came second with a total of 178 points, followed by Everglades 175 points, Gosford with169 points, Toukley 5th with 158 Points followed by Wyong and Shelly Beach equal 6th both on 155 points  then Magenta Shores 8th with 150 points  Breakers was represented by the following 6 players. Men :A Grade -Nic Merritt,  B. Grade -Wayne Fuller and C Grade Nick O'Meara Ladies A Grade Vicki Duesbury, B Grade- Sheryn Fuller and C Grade Jane Lumsdon. Individual winners were:  Vicki Duesbury won the overall best A Grade S

  Members, Please be aware that Mounties have asked us to advise members that any competitions winnings for the month of June will be  be allocated to you cards until the first week of July Remember to redeem and money you have on your cards before the end of June otherwise it will disappear Any golf balls won will be put into your account straight away

  Members, Just a reminder that any points you have on your card needs to be spent by the 30th June. These points can be spent in the club, the Pro Shop or by paying towards next years membership fees that are due at the end of the month. Unspent points will disappear so make sure you don' get caught
