Rod Stanley, Nick Merritt and Wayne Fuller "The Club Championships have now been completed after 36 holes stoke play qualifying and 3 rounds of knockout match play.Alan Ball shot 2 great rounds of 71 to lead the A grade qualifiers while Dieter Hajduk led B grade qualifiers,and Mike Laws led C grade.  Unfortunately these  number ones were all knocked out in the first round of match play. John Foster def David Farthing      Rod Stanley def Barry Paterson       The finals were played on Saturday 2nd November after 60mm of rain had fallen on the course over 2 days. After a 20 minute delay and with the prospect of clearing weather, we decided to go ahead and play.Nick Merritt started warm favourite against Steve Adlard but  Steve went ahead early and gave Nick a fright before Nick found his game and won 3&1.

Mounties held their Annual Presentation evening on 25th October at Mounties Club  420 people were  in attendance including several Breakers members. Our last years champions were presented with winning trophies and Lance Harrigan was presented with his Life Membership Medal.  Jeff Perry spoke first as the proposer and Lance then accepted his prestigious award. Congratulations Lance, a great night.
