PENNANTS 4TH ROUND Sunday 15 th Feb, Breakers B and C grade Pennant teams played at Everglades against a strong Gosford side. B Grade securing a hard fought 2 all draw. Alan Buckley continues his good form, winning 6 and 5 and Dieter won his game 2 up. Wayne Fuller, back from the Tassie trip was filling in at the last moment due to a team members withdrawal having reported in sick. Chilly was desperately phoning around to find a replacement. Thanks Wayne, for saving the day. He wish he had stayed in bed after losing 6 and 5. C grade has a resounding win over Gosford 3 ½ - ½ . They continue to be a force to reckon with in the C grade comp. Nelson Taylor winning 6 and 5, Paul Pascoe 4 and 3 and Jason Gouw 3 and 1. James Cameron securing the ½ point. Sunday 22 Feb 2026 Our next fixture is at Wyong against Mangrove Mountain. Tee off at 10.50 from the 1 st tee. Good Luck to all.

AROUND THE GREENS!! Tuesday Competition: Peter Cartledge, had a round of a life time scoring 46 points off a handicap of 12.9. A total of 69 strokes, 3 over par, with 2 birdies, 11 pars and 5 bogies. No surprises Peter is now a single figure handicapper (9.3). What a great round well done!! Not such a great day was had by another Peter that had this lie in the left bunker on the fourth hole, the photo doesn’t do it justice , it was unplayable. They say a picture says a thousand words, i can assure there was a few descriptive words uttered mainly towards the person that had left the rake on the edge and not in the middle of the bunker. PENNANTS 2ND ROUND Toukley at Magenta Breakers B Grade V Toukley at Magenta Shores 2 All Wayne Fuller faced very stiff opposition in his match. Despite giving his usual honest effort and never dropping his competitive spirit, the match proved one-sided on the day. Wayne battled right through to the end, showing commitment to the team even when the result slipped away early. Scott Blackmore delivered a gutsy performance in a match that swung back and forth all day. Trading blows hole for hole, Scott kept the pressure firmly on his opponent and never conceded an inch. Although he narrowly went down in the end, his fight and determination were outstanding for the team. Dieter Hajduk showed great resilience and composure in a hard-fought contest. Locked in a tight battle all day, Dieter held his nerve when it mattered most. His persistence paid off with a strong victory on the 17th hole, securing an important win and valuable momentum for Breakers. Allan Hockley a ne...
