The prizes, generously donated by the championship's major sponsor, McGrath Real Estate Terrigal, added to the excitement leading into the weekend's event. Bev Barendse and Hayleigh Gerritsen from McGrath Real Estate   Terrigal were on hand to present the prizes to the lucky winners, and their support of the championship was greatly appreciated by everyone at Breakers.

Breakers win the 2026 Challenge Cup Breakers Win the 2026 Challenge Cup The weather gods were not particularly kind as teams from across the Coast gathered at Everglades to contest the 2026 Challenge Cup. Intermittent showers throughout the day resulted in wet scorecards and even wetter players. Despite the conditions, there were plenty of smiles when competitors returned to the clubhouse. After all scores were tabulated, the individual winners were: Overall Winners Ladies: Sally Hopkins (Breakers) – 37 points Men: Coby Taylor (Toukley) – 35 points Ladies A Grade: Jennifer Kidd (Wyong) – 30 points B Grade: Lyndall Hendry (Everglades) – 35 points C Grade: Symone Anastas (Mingara) – 31 points (countback) Men A Grade: Darren Bateman (Gosford) – 34 points B Grade: George Duffy (Everglades) – 34 points C Grade: Garry Bu...

JEFF PERRY'S CELEBRATION OF LIFE Yesterday, more than 70 family members, friends, club officials, and those watching via the podcast came together to celebrate the life of Jeff Perry and say their final goodbye. It was a fitting tribute to a genuinely good man whose friendship, kindness, and contribution to so many lives will not be forgotten. Jeff will be sadly missed by all who knew him, but fondly remembered for the positive impact he had on our club and community. Our thoughts remain with Jeff's family and loved ones during this difficult time.

AROUND THE GREENS Hi All,   Just to keep everyone informed, the other week we unfortunately experienced an incident where the greens mower had a leak of hydraulic oil mid-mow. In these situations it is very likely the affected grass will die off which has been the case with the 7th.    As this was a complete strip from the front of the green all the way to the back, our plan is to turf cut and replace the impacted area with existing green surface from the back of the green, to keep 80% of green in a playable state, and then purchase and re-turf the back end of the green. Coming into the cooler weather, and slower growth period we decided this to be the better option than trying to grow it back in from seeds. This will greatly minimise green downtime and impact on the playability of the green.  Thank you for your patience while we get this addressed.  Regards, Matthew Farrugia Regional Manager Central Coast Hospitality Mounties Group ...
