Attention Members, The Club Championship Finals will be played next Saturday the 2nd November, commencing at 11.00 am. The finalists are: A Grade  Nick Merritt Vs Steve Adlard B Grade  Brad Callanan Vs Wayne Fuller C Grade  Rod Stanley  Vs John Foster Come along and support your favourite player, or just watch some nerve wracking match play.It should be a great day and it would be nice to see some support for our best players. Raising funds for Prostate Cancer Foundation Australia Over 100 members and guests attended the Sports Trivia night held on Saturday 12 October at Breakers CC It is fair to say, the quizzers had their knowledge of sport tested. I would like thank John Daven from Prostate Cance Support Group Central Coast for attending and giving us  an insight into what the CC support group offers for  those having treatment for Prostate Cancer and the  support available to families who are affected by a lov one who has Prostate Cancer. Chipping and Putting skills put to the test with Lily  winning the putting after a playoff Chris Mott winning the  chipping. Guess the total number of items in the jar had guesses  ranging from 100 to 500. Kiara’s guess was closest with  210 items in the jar. The Axeman Calcutta auction took place raising another  $160. AXEMAN SHOOTOUT   FINAL   The final of the Axeman Shootout  was held  on Sunday the 13 th  with the finalists excited and nervous at the same time.  Most players had organised a caddie and it was good to see support for players out on the course. At the Trivia night, the Calcutta auction ,  the largest bid w as  for Darren Reeves, closely followed by Barry Hayward and Chris Mott.  With the drinks carts full and Trace O’Meara looking after the scoreboard, battle commenced. With David Lowe a late drop out, the remaining  nine finalists were able to have a warmup going down the first. The shootout started proper at the  second  with  several players struggling with downhill puts. The fourth hole creating somewhat of a surprise with Glenn Bainbridge eliminated.
