  Dear Members, Your volunteer Golf Committee was re-elected at the AGM on the10th of November with Bob McMechan returning after several years. Our Club continues to grow every year with Mounties support for projects like new greens,new mowers and upgrading our water supply. We have many volunteers who assist with working bees,maintaining computer systems in the golf office,servicing the scanner in the proshop,and sponsorship of our major events. Construction of the new 9th green will commence early in 2025 and we will continue with improvements to our course. We sometimes cop criticism from a small number of members,but I would like to thank the Committee and all volunteers for their time and efforts as we look forward to another successful year. Rod Stanley, Nick Merritt and Wayne Fuller "The Club Championships have now been completed after 36 holes stoke play qualifying and 3 rounds of knockout match play.Alan Ball shot 2 great rounds of 71 to lead the A grade qualifiers while Dieter Hajduk led B grade qualifiers,and Mike Laws led C grade.  Unfortunately these  number ones were all knocked out in the first round of match play. Mounties held their Annual Presentation evening on 25th October at Mounties Club  420 people were  in attendance including several Breakers members. Our last years champions were presented with winning trophies and Lance Harrigan was presented with his Life Membership Medal.  Jeff Perry spoke first as the proposer and Lance then accepted his prestigious award. Congratulations Lance, a great night.

Attention Members, The Club Championship Finals will be played next Saturday the 2nd November, commencing at 11.00 am.
