There are still a number of tickets available for Presentation Night to be held on  Saturday 15th February starting at 6pm Although the focus on the night will be celebrating the achievements from 2024 there will be lots of other things happening on the night. Patrons will get a 2 course dinner as well as a chance to be a winner themselves in the raffles, or the  putting or chipping competitions The idea is yes to celebrate the winners but also to come along have dinner with your mates and partners as well as try your hand in the raffle, the music trivia or the chipping and putting competitions Tickets are only $25 for Golf Members and $35 for Non Golf Members available now at reception "WHY NOT GET A TABLE TOGETHER AND COME ALONG AND HAVE SOME FUN" Any funds raised on the night will go to the Ladies Golf Club Charity - Shirliey's Shuttle 

SECOND ROUND v GOSFORD and  ANOTHER GREAT WIN FOR ‘A GRADE" A GRADE Round two was held at Kooindah Waters. After several days of  heavy rain, the course was pronounced fit to play.  All the  bunkers were out of play (that put a smile on a few faces) and  preferred lies throughout the general area. Could the A grade team repeat the previous weeks results? Yes they can and they did, this time winning against Gosford 4  matches to 2. Wins for Nick Merritt, Alan Ball, Greg Swanson and Dean  Osborne. They currently sit on top of the table on equal points from  Wyong. Well done lads another great effort and bring on Shelly Beach  in the next round at Everglades  ‘B’ GRADE ‘B’ Grade had a tough match and managed a 2 – 2 draw. 2 025 SENIOR PENNANT ROUND 1RESULTS OUTSTANDING WIN FOR ‘A’ GRADE What a great start to the Senior Pennant competition. It has been a quite a few years since Breakers entered an ‘A’ Grade side  in the District Pennant. Our first match was held at Toukley GC. Conditions were great for golf and our A, B and C grade teams fired up and ready to go. Our opponents for the first match, Kooindah Waters. A grade led the way with Greg Duval, Adam Knight, Nick Merritt  (Captain), Greg Swanson, Alan Ball and Phil Carter. Most of the matches were remarkably close and Phil Carter securing a  half in his match to give the team an Historic Victory, 3 ½ to 2 ½ win. Wins for Alan Ball, Nick Merritt and Greg Swanson. ‘ B’ GRADE ‘B’ Grade had a disappointing start to their 2025 Pennants campaign,  going down 2 ½ - 1 ½. Members The 2024 Year Presentation night will be held on Saturday the 15th February at Breakers Country Club. 2024 was a long year, its now time to celebrate all the members who have won major awards in 2024 as well as a night to enjoy the company of your fellow members. The night will start with drinks at 6pm, members will be asked to be seated by 6.20pm for a two course sit down dinner commencing service at 6.30pm. Tickets will be available from the reception, the cost is $25 for Golf Members and $35 for Non Golf Members There will be lots of other activities and prizes for you to win. Come along with your wife or partner and have a night out with you mates over a meal and laughter as well as get some inspiration for this years major events.

WELCOME TO  2025 Happy New Year to you all, I hope you stay healthy and  enjoy another year of great friendship and Golf at Breakers. We have much to look forward to this year. Starting with our, Presentation Night We have our presentation night which will be held on Saturday  15th February 2025. I do hope as many of the club golfers and  their partners will attend and support our 2024 trophy winners.  We will endeavour to make it a fun night for all. Ticket will be  available soon. 9th Green Upgrade I do believe Mounties are very close to appointing the  contractor to upgrade the 9 th Green. This will create some  disruption to the length of the ninth hole but will be well worth it. HAPPY NEW YEAR  Now that 2025 has arrived your Committee is looking forward to the year ahead. The District A,B and C grade Pennants kick off on January 12th with Breakers fielding an A grade team for the first time in quite a few years.Good luck to all players. Construction of the new 9th green will commence in the next few weeks as 800 tonnes of clay has been delivered near the 5th tee ready to be moved once the old 9th green is removed. We plan to install new drainage on the entire 9th fairway to compliment the new green, as the fairway is always a problem in wet weather. This work will make it necessary for a temporary 9th hole for the duration of the works, but will be well worth it.I ask Members to be patient while this upgrade is taking place.
