Members please note that the sheet is now in the Pro Shop for the Men's Foursomes championship to be held on Sunday 13th November This will be a 27 hole event in A , B and C Grade Teams will play in the grade of the lowest players handicap The Timesheet will be posted on Wednesday 9th November Get you partner organised and come and have a go.

On Saturday we held the 2022 Mixed Foursomes Championship in what can only be described as near perfect conditions. The sun was shining, the course looked terrific and there was a lots of laughter and stories in the clubhouse at the end. The overall Stroke winners were Dean Osbourne and Chun Kim with Steve and Janice Adlard second and Glenn Bainbridge and Sally Hopkins third. The Overall Net winners were Tony and Jeanice Gibson with Peter Crowder and Vicky Duesbury second and Gary Burke and Jill Lavery third A special thank you to Bev Barendse from Coast Realty for sponsoring the day

Attention Members Due to Sunday being rained out again we have rescheduled the 3rd round of the Sunday  Bill Birch to Sunday 30th October Its not a good situation having to cancel and move competitions but the match committee is doing their best with the conditions we have to deal with. Good luck to all those that are still in the knockout competition.

The members had a successful Patrons Day on Tuesday with one of our biggest fields for a couple of months. 102 players played in sunny conditions with Lance Harrigan winning the day with 40points The courses is getting better every week and hopefully we will continue to get full fields A special thank you to our patron Jeff Perry for his ongoing support of the day Patron Jeff Perry Jeff and his group on Tuesday

That bloody magpie is at it again and has collected a few members of the past couple of weeks He got me whilst playing in the championships on Saturday and was back again on the Sunday It seems to be getting more active so be careful as you walk to the green on the 5th and 6th Wes Holmes and Colin Coote waving their clubs to keep the magpie away
