This week at Breakers

It's been a busy week this week with full fields on Tuesdays and Saturdays.  Sundays are busy but there seems to be spots available if members want a game.

A big thank you to the members for adhering to covid protocols.

Lots of members and visitors are playing through the week on non comp days so fields are full most days.

One of the consequences of this is damage to the course so please keep an eye on divots and pitch marks and repair where possible

There has been some really good scores with winners needing to get 20 points plus to take home the bacon.

The Mystery Partners is going well so keep an eye on the blog to see who you draw.

The only real holdup has been on the 4th hole so please be mindful and consider going to the back of the green and call the following players up

You would have noticed that we have a number of people starting the comp and the the captain and
committee is thankful to the volunteers that have given their time to help the comp run smoothly.

Change to Grades

Members, At the last match committee meeting the disproportionate differences in the numbers of players in each grade and concerns from the members was discussed  As of Saturday 16th September as long as there are a minimum of 60 players there will be 3 grades on Tuesdays and 2 Grades on a Saturday  Grades on Tuesdays will be : Division 1 : 0-15 Division 2 : 16 - 26 Division 3 : 27- 36 3 prizes will be paid for each grade calculated over total players Grades on a Saturday will be Division 1 ; 0-18 Division 2 : 19-36 3 prizes will be paid for each grade calculated over total players This will not effect the 101 Club which is played twice a month

  Members On Sunday 12th November the Breakers Mens Golf Club held the 2023 AGM.
