This Weeks News

It has been an interesting week with one hole in 1 and a number of players with high scores.

We trialled the Mystery Draw, congratulations to Joe Johns and Lester Pearson this weeks winners.

The committee continues to monitor the flow of play and it looks like it’s been successful with most games taking just under 4 hours We will need to keep this up as it does start to jam up for the afternoon players.

9 Hole Comp Starts: We start the 9 Hole competition this Saturday and the committee has decided that handicaps will be suspended until the end of August until we can review the Covid situation We will be playing a single stableford event every week with a 2BBB Mystery Partner Event in conjunction

Mystery Partner: The committee will be doing a mystery partner draw each week with the number of teams winning balls calculated on the day’s starters.
The committee will be doing this manually from home and will post the winners on the blog after the competition for the day. Balls will be allocated to members accounts after the day is finalised, so keep an eye out for your results and if you are in the winning teams

Preferred Lies: Please check whether it is preferred lies through the general area or if fairways only before teeing off. Trust me I know firsthand what it’s like when you have a good round but have to disqualify yourself because you don't read the board
