Club Patron -  Jeff Perry

Jeff was born in 1944, and trained as a Panel beater in Meadowbank.

He  married in 1966, then  moved to Wamberal  in 1972  and built their home in Windsor Road.

Jeff worked in Gosford for a few years before joining Gosford Council for ten years.

After leaving the Council, he purchased a factory in Berkley Vale and opened a panel shop restoring Classic English cars for many years until his retirement.

Jeff joined Terrigal Memorial Club in 1972 before we had a licence to sell alcohol.

His club number is 00003, and he started playing golf on three par 3 holes, consisting of Kikuyu grass tees, fairways and greens, playing every Sunday morning playing 6 times around.

Jeff started playing Pennant golf, representing the club in the late Seventies and has been involved ever since, winning several C Grade pennants as captain and manager in 2020

Jeff  was a member of the Golf Committee for many years, serving as Vice President, Secretary and General Committee,  he was a member of the Board during the nineties.

This year the committee invited Jeff to take up the position of Patron of the Golf Club, which he accepted and acknowledges is a great honour, we hope he continues to perform that task for many years.

You will see Jeff as one of our competition starters, the members and the committee are grateful to Jeff for all his efforts.

If you bump into Jeff at the golf club, introduce yourself and say G Day
