Steve to the Rescue

There are a number of new mother ducks and ducklings on the course at the moment and on Saturday one family was taking an excursion from the 5th, across the 6th and onto Willoughby road 

Steve Adlard spotted them and attempted to divert the family's direction from the road without success.

Mother duck new exactly where she wanted to go and no matter what Steve did she headed to the road wth her family in hot pursuit.

All of a sudden Steve took off and was last seen racing  through the bushes jumping the fence running onto Willoughby road to stop any cars and making sure the little family made it across to the other side. 

On behalf of all the animal lovers in the club well done, but can you do something about that bloody magpie.
