A game with the Captain

With all the Covid restrictions people can't go on cruise holidays and have dinner with the captain however on Tuesday, two members decided that as they were playing with the captain they should turn up dressed for the occasion.

Steve Robinson and Andy Hoban's humour  set the tone for the round and after lots of banter around good and bad shots, putts sunk and missed, the group let the captain win on the day

The moral of the story is that to be out playing golf and enjoying your mates company is what golf is really about - If you win on the day well done if not come back next week

Members, At the last match committee meeting the disproportionate differences in the numbers of players in each grade and concerns from the members was discussed  As of Saturday 16th September as long as there are a minimum of 60 players there will be 3 grades on Tuesdays and 2 Grades on a Saturday  Grades on Tuesdays will be : Division 1 : 0-15 Division 2 : 16 - 26 Division 3 : 27- 36 3 prizes will be paid for each grade calculated over total players Grades on a Saturday will be Division 1 ; 0-18 Division 2 : 19-36 3 prizes will be paid for each grade calculated over total players This will not effect the 101 Club which is played twice a month
