Bill Birch Final

Starting with over 150 players from Sunday, Tuesday morning and Tuesday afternoon competitions, all qualifying rounds of the Bill Birch knockout have now been completed and as of last Tuesday we are down to our last 6 players

Don Ball, Wayne Fuller, Glen Bainbridge, Russ Emery, Steve Clarke and Martin Vanderslot.

The finals will be held on Sunday 24th October and Tuesday 26th October with the all players having to play on their qualifying day with the best stableford score over those two days will get their name on the trophy.

Members, At the last match committee meeting the disproportionate differences in the numbers of players in each grade and concerns from the members was discussed  As of Saturday 16th September as long as there are a minimum of 60 players there will be 3 grades on Tuesdays and 2 Grades on a Saturday  Grades on Tuesdays will be : Division 1 : 0-15 Division 2 : 16 - 26 Division 3 : 27- 36 3 prizes will be paid for each grade calculated over total players Grades on a Saturday will be Division 1 ; 0-18 Division 2 : 19-36 3 prizes will be paid for each grade calculated over total players This will not effect the 101 Club which is played twice a month
