A Note from the Captain

From the Men’s Captain, 

I take this opportunity to bring you up to date with what’s going on at Breakers Men’s Golf Club. We are now part of the Mounties family; a good percent of the golfers will now have a new membership card. For those members who have not visited the club since we joined the Mounties family, you will get an opportunity to renew for 5 years for only $12. 

All monies on your card have been transferred over to your new card. We did have a small hiccup with prize money but that now has been fixed. 

We are all very frustrated with the amount of rain we are having and how much golf we are NOT playing. This has meant we have had to make a few changes to the Fixtures. I can announce the Creighton’s cup will now be played on Tuesday 31st May 2022 and the Mixed Foursomes on Saturday 14th May 2022. 

Due to the Covid pandemic, the Men’s committee have not been able to give back to members as they would have liked, therefore I can announce on the evening of the 14th of May 2022 commencing at 6.00 pm, we are holding a FREE Golf members draw. 

This will give every golf member at least one entry into the draw. We have over $2,500 worth of Golf items to give away. The major prize is a MGI Zip1 Electric Buggy, worth over $1,000. Members who have played in comps from 1 Jan 2022 to 31 Mar 2022 will receive additional entries, dependent on how many comps you have played during this period. The Ladies will also hold a similar draw for Lady Golf Members who attend the draw. 

The Evening will have LIVE MUSIC fromThe Ball Busters 

 LOTS of LUCKY DOOR PRIZES. I will also take this opportunity to announce the winners of the Clubs Mixed Foursomes. It will be essential to book a table of either 6, 8 or 10 members. 

Numbers are limited so you will need to get in early.

The Men’s committee look forward to seeing as many members as possible at this fun, social evening.
