Message from the Captain

To Golf Members 

Gentlemen, we are in regular discussions with Matt, Venue Manager and Wayne Hensley, Ground Superintendent to open up the course as soon as possible. 

It has been suggested by some members that we can open up some of the Par 4 holes. 

Having played yesterday (Saturday) there are to many areas that are still holding water and the safety of our members is foremost in the minds of Mounties management. 

Is is somewhat disappointing to see such low numbers playing the alternative Par 3 course. 

This was designed as a temporary measure but with more rain predicted, we may be playing the Par 3 longer than first thought. If this is the case, we plan to make adjustments to handicaps to provide a more even playing field. 

Whilst we are using temporary score cards, please make sure your Name and Handicap are written the scorecard . 

We have had score cards handed in with no name on the card. We will only be playing a Single Stableford on the Par 3 course. 

All major Mens comps have been postponed until we have some improvements in the condition of the course. 

The mixed foursomes has been re-scheduled for Saturday 10th September. 

The committee look forward to your ongoing support during these very frustrating times.
