Keno Ambrose Entry Opens Friday

Keno Lets Play Ambrose 

Breakers will be holding the qualifying rounds for this years Keno Lets Play Ambrose on Tuesday 25th June, Thursday 27th June (Ladies) Saturday 29th June( Mixed ) and Sunday (Mens) 30th June

Entries will open for the Tuesday 25th (Mens Teams) at this Friday nights draw,  entries for Saturday 29th (Mixed) and Sunday 30th (Men's)Bookings will be open at the following Friday night draw

If Registering via the portal?

Entry is via normal booking sheet. Please make sure you and your partner are numbers 1and 2 or 3 and 4 on the booking sheet for the day. If you don’t have a partner and would like to play in the Mixed event on the Saturday the 29th there will be a sheet in the pro ship and we will try to find you a partner.

Ladies Qualifying

The Ladies qualifying event will be played on Thursday 27th June Entry fee is paid directly to the pro shop with your daily competition entry fee

Mens Qualifying

 Men’s qualifying events will be played on Tuesday 25th and Sunday 30th June Entry fee is paid directly to the pro shop with your daily competition entry fee

Mixed Qualifying

The Mixed qualifying events will be played on Saturday 29th June Entry fee is paid directly to the pro shop with your daily competition entry fee

Conditions of Play

The Keno Let’s Play Ambrose is a Two-person Ambrose event aimed at club golfers and encouraging them to enjoy the fun aspects of golf. 

Stage 1: Club Qualifying Round Club Qualifying rounds must be conducted as a Two-person Ambrose event. The leading Men, Women and Mixed pairs at each Club Qualifying event will advance to Stage 2. If a leading pair is unavailable for Stage 2, the next placed pair may replace them. Club Qualifying dates should be scheduled prior to Friday 30th August to ensure qualifiers have sufficient time to attend their chosen 

Regional Final. Each Club is entitled to have one pair in the Men, Women and Mixed categories progress from their club qualifying event to Stage 2. If a club has more than 21+ pairs in any of the Men, Women and Mixed categories participate at their club qualifying event, they are entitled to have two (2) pairs progress to Stage 2. 

Entry Fee: $5.00 per pair 

Stage 2: Regional Finals 

There will be Twelve (12) Regional Finals that will be managed by Golf NSW, and will be held in NSW Metropolitan and Regional areas. 

The leading male, female and mixed pair from each Regional Final will advance to the State Final, 

Stage 3: State Final at Bonville Golf Resort  Stage 3: State Finals Venue: Bonville Golf Resort, Coffs Harbour (Sunday 8th – Wednesday 11th December 2024 The State Final will be conducted over two (2) rounds of 18-holes. Scoring for each round will be based on ranking for that round such that the net winner of the round will receive 1 point, net second-place will receive 2 points, net third-place will receive 3 points and so on. 

 The winner of the State Final will be the pairing with the lowest points across the two rounds. State Finalists receive: Covered by Golf NSW is the cost of two (2) rounds of golf, accommodation for three (3) nights, welcome function, the presentation dinner and breakfast on all three (3) mornings. 

 One room at either Bonville Golf Resort / Pacific Bay Resort will be provided to the qualifying pair for the 3 nights.

 If additional accommodation is required for partners or additional guests, packages may be available. \
