PENNANTS 7TH ROUND: BREAKERS Vs WYONG at GOSFORD An early start with Tee off at 6.30am at Gosford and from all accounts the course has not held up well after all the wet. Breakers B and C Grade teams took on a very strong Wyong outfit at Gosford, with the early 6:35am tee time making ball tracking off the tee extremely difficult in the low light. Combined with a very wet course, conditions were challenging from the outset. First to the tee was Peter Cartledge, making his return to the pennants side after many years. Pete went down 3 & 2. In his own words, he struggled off the tee, which made scoring tough in the heavy conditions at Gosford. Andrew McSwan faced a very consistent Wyong opponent and went down 5 & 4. Luck just wasn't on Andrew's side today. Allan Hockley continued his strong and consistent form this season, securing another solid win, 3 & 2.
