This week on the Course

 This week on the Course

With all the changes going at Breakers due to  Covid-19 its been challenging week for everyone.

After much discussion the committee decided to move to 9 hole competition in line with most clubs on the Central Coast allowing 120  members to play rather than our current limit of 78.

The 9 hole competitions will start on Saturday the 7th July - Bookings open at 5pm on Friday 30th

There is a lot of competition and social play going on and the course is getting beat up a bit with lots of divots not filled on both the tees and the fairways

Please on your way round keep your sand bucket handy and  fill other peoples divots as well as you own.

We are discussing the option of introducing a mystery partner for a couple of rounds whilst were playing 9 holes, this will allow the prize pool to go deeper

Partners will be created by the computer and results will posted on the blog on the night of the competition however the singles results as normal will be able to be seen on the portal

As far as last weeks competitions goes, the course is getting a bit of run back and we had full fields on Saturday, Sunday and Tuesday with some really good scores.

You have probably noticed members of the committee starting fields and around the course making sure that play flows smoothly.

Thanks to the cooperation from the players this has been a real success and players are finishing rounds under 4 hours
