Terrigal Cup and Plate

The 2022 Terrigal Cup was played on Sunday the 4th of December with a full field teeing off with a shotgun start under sunny skies.

Our sponsor, Alan Hillery from Goodyear Tyre and Auto Erina hit the 1st shot off the 1st tee. 

The Cup was won by Glenn Bainbridge in a sudden death playoff from Eddie Stothard after both players returned a score of 74.

Dean Osborne,the winner for the past 3 years, finished 1 shot back on 75.

The Terrigal Plate for the best net score was won by Steve Goodwin with a brillant score of 61.  Eddie Stothard was runner up with 62.

Congratulations to all the winners on the day.

Members, At the last match committee meeting the disproportionate differences in the numbers of players in each grade and concerns from the members was discussed  As of Saturday 16th September as long as there are a minimum of 60 players there will be 3 grades on Tuesdays and 2 Grades on a Saturday  Grades on Tuesdays will be : Division 1 : 0-15 Division 2 : 16 - 26 Division 3 : 27- 36 3 prizes will be paid for each grade calculated over total players Grades on a Saturday will be Division 1 ; 0-18 Division 2 : 19-36 3 prizes will be paid for each grade calculated over total players This will not effect the 101 Club which is played twice a month
