Breakers Members Vist Urunga.

Over the past week a number of Breakers members have been enjoying a week away at Urunga on the North Coast of NSW 

the group have enjoyed the golf and Mark Leary and Warren Nash have caught a few fish, with the rest of us just getting devoured by sand flies

Peter Searle and Viv Ball won the first day, and Mark Collier won the mens on day two with Viv Ball being the stand out women's player winning again day two

The question is will anybody be able to take the shield off he after day threes competition at Nambucca Island on Thursday.

A great score by Chris Eaton yesterday with 36 points at Sawtell - well done Chris great to see you back on the course

A couple more days and they will be back at Royal Terrigal with lots of stories

Members, At the last match committee meeting the disproportionate differences in the numbers of players in each grade and concerns from the members was discussed  As of Saturday 16th September as long as there are a minimum of 60 players there will be 3 grades on Tuesdays and 2 Grades on a Saturday  Grades on Tuesdays will be : Division 1 : 0-15 Division 2 : 16 - 26 Division 3 : 27- 36 3 prizes will be paid for each grade calculated over total players Grades on a Saturday will be Division 1 ; 0-18 Division 2 : 19-36 3 prizes will be paid for each grade calculated over total players This will not effect the 101 Club which is played twice a month

Men’s Club Championships 2024 The Club Championships will commence with a 36 Holes Qualifying Stroke Event. Saturday 19th & Sunday 20th October.  Matchplay - Round 3 Saturday October 19th  Round 4 Sunday October 20th   Round 5 Final Saturday November 2nd •  Rounds 1 and 2 tee times and groups will be seeded in handicaps by the Committee  A Grade 0 - 12  B Grade 13 - 19  C Grade 20 - 36  •  All handicaps will remain static for the 5 rounds.  The Veterans Championships   is for all members over 55 and is only played over Round 1 & Round 2 of 36 holes.  • There will be an 18 Hole Stroke and Net daily Competition for Round 1 & Round 2 played under Championship handicaps.  • Players are requested to be ready for their tee times 15 minutes prior to tee off.  • Any player(s) late for their allocated tee time will be disqualified under rule 6-3.  • This event is under direct control of the Breakers Men’s Golf Committee. All protests and disputes must be referred to the Golf Match C
