MEN’S FOURSOMES CHAMPIONSHIP  SUNDAY 31ST AUGUST 2025

  • In foursomes golf, two partners play as a side, using one ball and taking turns hitting shots on each hole. The partners alternate teeing off on each hole, with one player teeing off on odd-numbered holes and the other on even-numbered holes. They continue to alternate shots until the hole is completed. Penalty strokes do not disrupt the alternating order of play.

2 025 SENIOR PENNANT ROUND 1RESULTS OUTSTANDING WIN FOR ‘A’ GRADE What a great start to the Senior Pennant competition. It has been a quite a few years since Breakers entered an ‘A’ Grade side  in the District Pennant. Our first match was held at Toukley GC. Conditions were great for golf and our A, B and C grade teams fired up and ready to go. Our opponents for the first match, Kooindah Waters. A grade led the way with Greg Duval, Adam Knight, Nick Merritt  (Captain), Greg Swanson, Alan Ball and Phil Carter. Most of the matches were remarkably close and Phil Carter securing a  half in his match to give the team an Historic Victory, 3 ½ to 2 ½ win. Wins for Alan Ball, Nick Merritt and Greg Swanson. ‘ B’ GRADE ‘B’ Grade had a disappointing start to their 2025 Pennants campaign,  going down 2 ½ - 1 ½. Rod Stanley, Nick Merritt and Wayne Fuller "The Club Championships have now been completed after 36 holes stoke play qualifying and 3 rounds of knockout match play.Alan Ball shot 2 great rounds of 71 to lead the A grade qualifiers while Dieter Hajduk led B grade qualifiers,and Mike Laws led C grade.  Unfortunately these  number ones were all knocked out in the first round of match play.
