9TH GREEN:  Eagerly awaited opening is set for mid-July including the newly approved concrete path around the back of the green. Total spend on new green is estimated at $175k and path $25k.

GUR’s: Committee have been out with the white spray cans marking new GUR’s especially on the 3rd and nineth. Please note there is no Gur relief in a penalty area, Gur stops at the red pegs.

HOUSE KEEPING: Please make sure you rake all your footsteps and divots in bunkers, we know how frustrating being in a bunker can be, but this amplified somewhat if you land in a footprint.

Slow play, we saw groups having to tee off 30 to 40 minutes after their tee times on Tuesday and with shortened daylight hours coming home in the dark. Its easy just keep up with the group in front of you.

2 025 SENIOR PENNANT ROUND 1RESULTS OUTSTANDING WIN FOR ‘A’ GRADE What a great start to the Senior Pennant competition. It has been a quite a few years since Breakers entered an ‘A’ Grade side  in the District Pennant. Our first match was held at Toukley GC. Conditions were great for golf and our A, B and C grade teams fired up and ready to go. Our opponents for the first match, Kooindah Waters. A grade led the way with Greg Duval, Adam Knight, Nick Merritt  (Captain), Greg Swanson, Alan Ball and Phil Carter. Most of the matches were remarkably close and Phil Carter securing a  half in his match to give the team an Historic Victory, 3 ½ to 2 ½ win. Wins for Alan Ball, Nick Merritt and Greg Swanson. ‘ B’ GRADE ‘B’ Grade had a disappointing start to their 2025 Pennants campaign,  going down 2 ½ - 1 ½. Rod Stanley, Nick Merritt and Wayne Fuller "The Club Championships have now been completed after 36 holes stoke play qualifying and 3 rounds of knockout match play.Alan Ball shot 2 great rounds of 71 to lead the A grade qualifiers while Dieter Hajduk led B grade qualifiers,and Mike Laws led C grade.  Unfortunately these  number ones were all knocked out in the first round of match play.
