Tomorrow Saturday 26th , rain hail or shine Grand Opening of 9/18th Green. Lots of prizes, Single and 4BBB Stableford with Special Prizes and a Sausage Sizzle between 11.30 and 12.30.




1. Longest putt sunk on the new green, $50.00 women and men categories.

2. Most Stableford Points on Front Nine and last Three Holes.

   Most Stableford Points on Back Nine and last Three Holes.

" Special score card will be issued for this event"

"Two new drop zones are at the front of the 9/18th green. Please keep off new turf leading to the path."

Sunday and Tuesday Men's competitions will also see extra prize money to celebrate the opening of the new green.

COURSE PROJECTS UPDATES:

1. Nursery green on the first has been reseeded and will be utilised for repairing greens and a temporary green. Please respect the GUR in this area.

2. Plans are to start new drainage for the entire length of the 9/18th hole as soon as it is dry enough to get machinery on it.

3. Rock wall up to the bridge on the 9/18th can now be finished.


President's advice on how to play the new 9/18th Green, a little fade with a lot of backspin???

2 025 SENIOR PENNANT ROUND 1RESULTS OUTSTANDING WIN FOR ‘A’ GRADE What a great start to the Senior Pennant competition. It has been a quite a few years since Breakers entered an ‘A’ Grade side  in the District Pennant. Our first match was held at Toukley GC. Conditions were great for golf and our A, B and C grade teams fired up and ready to go. Our opponents for the first match, Kooindah Waters. A grade led the way with Greg Duval, Adam Knight, Nick Merritt  (Captain), Greg Swanson, Alan Ball and Phil Carter. Most of the matches were remarkably close and Phil Carter securing a  half in his match to give the team an Historic Victory, 3 ½ to 2 ½ win. Wins for Alan Ball, Nick Merritt and Greg Swanson. ‘ B’ GRADE ‘B’ Grade had a disappointing start to their 2025 Pennants campaign,  going down 2 ½ - 1 ½. Rod Stanley, Nick Merritt and Wayne Fuller "The Club Championships have now been completed after 36 holes stoke play qualifying and 3 rounds of knockout match play.Alan Ball shot 2 great rounds of 71 to lead the A grade qualifiers while Dieter Hajduk led B grade qualifiers,and Mike Laws led C grade.  Unfortunately these  number ones were all knocked out in the first round of match play.
