Super Senior Golf  3rd round 28th July

Breaker's Super Seniors team were back at home playing Shelly Beach both teams were evenly matched on paper and this reflected in the final score of 4 all. Any home advantage was negated due to the very gusty winds which we recon gave the advantage to Shelly Beach. It was an exciting finish with final group reached the 18th with Terrigal one up to win the day but alas the new green took its toll favouring the vistors, the hole was lost and the overall team score halved.

 Congratulations to winners Greg Swanson,Glen Bainbridge, Pete Searle, halves to Dean Osbourne, Rick Petrie. Losses to  Wayne Fuller, Warren Butts and Peter Crowder

2 025 SENIOR PENNANT ROUND 1RESULTS OUTSTANDING WIN FOR ‘A’ GRADE What a great start to the Senior Pennant competition. It has been a quite a few years since Breakers entered an ‘A’ Grade side  in the District Pennant. Our first match was held at Toukley GC. Conditions were great for golf and our A, B and C grade teams fired up and ready to go. Our opponents for the first match, Kooindah Waters. A grade led the way with Greg Duval, Adam Knight, Nick Merritt  (Captain), Greg Swanson, Alan Ball and Phil Carter. Most of the matches were remarkably close and Phil Carter securing a  half in his match to give the team an Historic Victory, 3 ½ to 2 ½ win. Wins for Alan Ball, Nick Merritt and Greg Swanson. ‘ B’ GRADE ‘B’ Grade had a disappointing start to their 2025 Pennants campaign,  going down 2 ½ - 1 ½. Rod Stanley, Nick Merritt and Wayne Fuller "The Club Championships have now been completed after 36 holes stoke play qualifying and 3 rounds of knockout match play.Alan Ball shot 2 great rounds of 71 to lead the A grade qualifiers while Dieter Hajduk led B grade qualifiers,and Mike Laws led C grade.  Unfortunately these  number ones were all knocked out in the first round of match play.
