PENNANT REPORT 2026 : 

Breakers B and C grade Pennant teams kicked of the season with a match against Magenta, played at Toukley GC.

Both matches were very close.

Well done to C grade starting the season with a win, taking out a strong Magenta C grade side.

Jason Gouw and Darren Reeves both winning their matches and James Cameron getting a very important half point to secure the win.

B grade losing 2 ½ to 1 ½. Allan Hockley playing his first match for Breakers, won his match 4 and 3. Dieter Hajduk leading for most of his match, ended all square.

Both Victor Carr and Andrew McSwan, up against two very strong Magenta players, fought hard, unfortunately both lost their matches.

This Sunday, 18th Jan,  we play Toukley at Magenta.

Tee off at 11.30 from the 1st tee.

2 025 SENIOR PENNANT ROUND 1RESULTS OUTSTANDING WIN FOR ‘A’ GRADE What a great start to the Senior Pennant competition. It has been a quite a few years since Breakers entered an ‘A’ Grade side  in the District Pennant. Our first match was held at Toukley GC. Conditions were great for golf and our A, B and C grade teams fired up and ready to go. Our opponents for the first match, Kooindah Waters. A grade led the way with Greg Duval, Adam Knight, Nick Merritt  (Captain), Greg Swanson, Alan Ball and Phil Carter. Most of the matches were remarkably close and Phil Carter securing a  half in his match to give the team an Historic Victory, 3 ½ to 2 ½ win. Wins for Alan Ball, Nick Merritt and Greg Swanson. ‘ B’ GRADE ‘B’ Grade had a disappointing start to their 2025 Pennants campaign,  going down 2 ½ - 1 ½.   Members, The draw has now been completed for the Match Play Knock Out. The draw was out of a hat and some team got a carry over to make a second round of 8 matches Games can be play either in conjunction with a competition or as arranged by all teams, but must be completed within the timeframe.. If you are playing outside of compitition days keep your card as a record in case we need to go to a count back The draw will be posted in the notice board for updating. Good luck to all teams
