Being one of the 5 best Stableford scores recorded In Div 1 or Div 2 over the next 14 Stableford Competitions, you stand a chance of contesting the final shoot out

FINAL

 On Sunday 22 November 2026

(Div 1, 0 – 18 and Div 2, 19 -36)

10 Finalist hit off the First tee, worst score is axed (in the event of a tied score, a chip off will decide the player who is axed) and then 9 hit off the Second tee, same applies, until only 2 are left on the 9th Hole to decide the winner of the

2 025 SENIOR PENNANT ROUND 1RESULTS OUTSTANDING WIN FOR ‘A’ GRADE What a great start to the Senior Pennant competition. It has been a quite a few years since Breakers entered an ‘A’ Grade side  in the District Pennant. Our first match was held at Toukley GC. Conditions were great for golf and our A, B and C grade teams fired up and ready to go. Our opponents for the first match, Kooindah Waters. A grade led the way with Greg Duval, Adam Knight, Nick Merritt  (Captain), Greg Swanson, Alan Ball and Phil Carter. Most of the matches were remarkably close and Phil Carter securing a  half in his match to give the team an Historic Victory, 3 ½ to 2 ½ win. Wins for Alan Ball, Nick Merritt and Greg Swanson. ‘ B’ GRADE ‘B’ Grade had a disappointing start to their 2025 Pennants campaign,  going down 2 ½ - 1 ½.   2026 Mixed Foursomes Championship A strong field of 46 players teed off in beautiful conditions for this year’s Mixed Foursomes Championship at Breakers. The course was presented in excellent condition, with some interesting tee and pin placements adding to the challenge. It was also great to see the fifth hole back in play. There was plenty of enthusiasm among the competitors, especially from Wayne and Sheryn Fuller, who went the extra mile by staying overnight in their caravan in the car park to allow extra time for practice in the morning. With the late withdrawal of one of the favourites, Stephen and Janice—after an unfortunate incident where Janice briefly thought she was 21 again and joined in a game of football with her granddaughter—the field was wide open. The foursomes format always proves challenging, and there were certainly a few players taking shots from some very “interesting” positions around the course.
