Members The Club Championships will have a new format this year with qualifying being the first 18 holes stroke on Saturday 19th October and the second 18 holes stroke on Sunday 20th October. The leading 8 players in each grade will then play knockout match play on Saturday 26th. The winning 4 players in each grade will play knockout matchplay on Sunday 27th. The final 2 players in each grade will play the final on Saturday 2nd November. The Veterans Championship and A,B & C net winners will be decided on the 36 hole qualifying scores. Regards Committee. Fund Raiser We currently have several Men golfers who are having treatment for e Prostate Cancer and most of us know someone who has had to deal with this Cancer. One thing I have learnt since getting involved with the Cancer charity fund raiser, regular testing it a must . Prostate Cancer Research has provided me with a number of information booklets I would like to take this opportunity to thank all members who have entered the AXEMAN shootout and booked a table for the Sports Trivia night . My goal is to raise $5,000+. Currently we have raised just over $1, 6 00 in conjunction with the Sports Trivia night. Mounties have kindly agreed to match us $1 for $1 up to $2,000. Over the past week a number of Breakers members have been enjoying a week away at Urunga on the North Coast of NSW the group have enjoyed the golf and Mark Leary and Warren Nash have caught a few fish, with the rest of us just getting devoured by sand flies Peter Searle and Viv Ball won the first day, and Mark Collier won the mens on day two with Viv Ball being the stand out women's player winning again day two The question is will anybody be able to take the shield off he after day threes competition at Nambucca Island on Thursday. A great score by Chris Eaton yesterday with 36 points at Sawtell - well done Chris great to see you back on the course A couple more days and they will be back at Royal Terrigal with lots of stories
